The Clay County Public Library Board will meet on July 22 at 1:00. The meeting is open to the public, but we will not be circulating items during the meeting.

Teen night will be on July 24, beginning at 6:00. All teens of Clay County are invited to come and join us for an evening of food, fun, and games.

Our Summer Reading Program will end on July 30, with our end of the summer party. All our young readers are welcome to come in for a morning of fun and games.

Local Author Wilma Beason Nevans has donated her second book “From Ashburn’s Creek to Kentucky” to the library. This book continues the story which began in “Memories of Ashburn’s Creek”, and discusses the repercussions of the building of Dale Hollow Dam. There are copies available for sale at Celina Lumber Company for those who wish to purchase this book.
