AT THE STATE-The Clay County 4-H Grillmaster Team competed and faired well at the recent State Competition held at UT Knoxville, as the team placed 2nd overall and also had high-finishing individuals.  Faith Burks finished first in pork, Kylee Hix second in poultry, Kadence Smith fourth in lamb, and Roman Briggs fourth in beef.  Hix also advanced with an opportunity to compete at the national contest.  Pictured (left to right) are Burks, Hix, 4-H extension agent Haley Barnes, Briggs, and Smith.
