Both Lady Dawgs and Bulldogs well represented on District 7-A All-Conference and All-Tournament teams

DISTRICT 7-A SOFTBALL AWARDS-Lady Bulldog Softball wrapped up a successful season Tuesday night at Jo Byrns with a tough 3-2 loss to the Lady Red Devils in the Region 4-A Semifinals (see next week’s newspaper for details). The Clay County girls also finished as the District 7-A Runners-up. Following their championship game appearance, Lady Dawg all-conference first-team members (above, left to right) Reagan Cherry, Jaid Walker, Baylor Walden, Analiece Dailey, and Jenna Thompson, along with second-team members (below, left to right) Haylen Garrison, Emma Wix, Lila Birdwell, and Riley Baxter, were all honored among the best players in the league.
