EMS ‘Fill An Ambulance’ supply drive underway

Donations being accepted at EMS building, Dollar Stores
CELINA-Clay County EMS kicked off their “Fill An Ambulance” supply drive last week to support local students, and the effort will continue through the end of the month.
“We’re excited to kick off our Fill an Ambulance supply drive to support students in Clay County as they head back to school!” EMS officials said on Facebook. “From July 13th to July 30th, we’re collecting school supplies and hygiene items to make sure every kid has what they need for a great start.”
Donations can be made by dropping off items inside an ambulance parked at the ambulance service here at 143 Cordell Hull Drive between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
There are also collection boxes located at local Dollar Stores.
EMS officials said those donating items at the EMS building don’t have to check in and they encouraged those using drop boxes at the retail stores to add items to their shopping lists to donate.
“Just drop your items inside the ambulance parked out front anytime,” they said. “No need to check in, just drop and go!
“(Also) look for our collection boxes! You can even grab a few items while you shop and drop them right there.”

“Let’s come together to support our community’s kids!” EMS officials said. “Every donation makes a difference.”
