Local VFDs spend weekend sharpening vehicle extraction skills

VALUABLE LESSONS LEARNED-East 52, Timothy, and Celina Volunteer Fire Departments spent this past weekend learning valuable vehicle extraction skills at a training offered by the State Fire Academy, and the local departments offered their appreciation to all involved. “We are thankful for Arney’s Wrecker Service for hosting the practical portion of our training, the wonderful instructors, and the dedicated volunteers that gave their weekend to train,” they said. All Clay County residents are encouraged to support these volunteers who donate their time to serve the community either financially, through volunteering to help, or by becoming a full-time member.
