SPARTA-Haley Watson and Jacob Burnette were united in marriage on Saturday, June 28, 2025 here at Macedonia Meadows.

The ceremony was officiated by Caleb Burnette, and many friends and family members were in attendance.

Haley is the daughter of Chris Watson and Michelle Watson, and Jacob is the son of Joseph and Heather Burnette.

Madison Key, Kristen Routh, Abbigail Collins, Kelcee Gammons, Katie Burnette, and Austa Burks attended the bride.  Serving as groomsmen were Wyatt Burks, Maddox Cagle, Jeff Spivey, Heath Kimes, Eli Burris, and Bryson Bilbrey. 

Josie Comer and Callie Smith, cousins of the groom, were flower girls.  The bride’s nephews, Braden and Weston Routh, served as ring bearers.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Both recent graduates of Tennessee Technological University, Haley teaches second grade at Celina K-8 and Jacob works at Elite Construction in Cookeville.  They will reside in Celina.
