Clay County Museum, Inc. will be accepting bids for the purpose of enclosing and enlarging the pavilion. Also accepting bids to replace the roof on Cordell Hull building and a bid for creating a walkway between the parking lot and the pavilion. Sealed bids will be accepted at the Clay County Museum, Inc until 3:00PM on Friday January 16, 2026. for more information on the work to be done contact Beverly Hollifield at 931-243-4220.

ELECTION NOTICE
Clay County Republican and Democratic Federal and State Primary,
County General Election, and City of Celina Municipal Election
The Clay County Federal Primary, State Primary, County General Elections will be held on
Thursday August 6th, 2026, in all voting precincts in Clay County. The City of Celina
Municipal election will be included for voters in the City of Celina.
Offices on the ballot include:
Primary U.S Senate, U.S. House of Representatives Dist. 6, Governor, TN State House of Representatives
Dist. 38, and Republican and Democratic State Executive Committeeman and Committeewoman District 12.
General Election County Offices: County Mayor, County Commissioners Districts 1-5, County Trustee,
General Sessions Judge, Sheriff, Circuit Court Clerk, County Clerk, Register of Deeds, Road Superintendent,
School Board Members 2, 3, and 5.
City of Celina: Alderman
Qualifying petitions for all candidates will be available at the Clay County Election Office beginning January
9th, 2026. The qualifying deadline will be NOON March 10, 2026.
Special Note: All candidates for these offices, (Republican, Democrat, Independent) shall qualify by the
same deadline – NOON, March 10, 2026. Candidates shall file their original nominating petition in the
county election office where they reside and file a certified duplicate petition in the other county election
offices.
The Clay County Election Office is located at 145 Cordell Hull Drive, Celina, TN. Office hours are 9:00 am –
4:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Phone #: 931-243-2536.
State Law requires a Photo I.D. issued by the State of Tennessee Government or the United States Government
to vote in elections in 2026.
REMINDER:
The Clay County Election Office would like to remind voters that if you have moved or had a name change to
please contact our office. We will have several elections in 2026. It will be much smoother at the polling place,
for the voters, and our office if the voter’s information is up to date.
