The Clay County boys and Clarkrange girls won the HORIZON polls as the teams to take the championships in the District 7-A tournament.

The Bulldogs took 86 percent of the vote in the boys poll, with Jackson County finishing second at nine percent. Clarkrange and Red Boiling Springs each received two percent of the vote in the unscientific poll. Clay County and Clarkrange will meet for the boys title on Tuesday night, with Jackson County and Monterey playing in the consolation game.

The Lady Buffaloes took 67 percent of the vote in the fan poll, with Clay County second at 18 percent. Jackson County got 13 percent of the vote and Pickett County three. Clarkrange and Jackson County will play for the girls title on Monday night, with Clay and Pickett meeting in the consolation contest.
