The 2009 Rollercoaster Yard Sale Committee met recently at the Glasgow Barren County Chamber of Commerce to begin the planning process for the 24th Annual Rollercoaster Yard Sale to be held October 1, 2, and 3, 2009.  

The popular event, founded in 1986 by the late Sarah Ann Bowers, has brought thousands of visitors from all over the United States to enjoy the authentic yard sales, entertainment, and scenic drives along Highways 61, 63, 90  and 127 in Kentucky and Highways 52 and 111 in Tennessee.   

This year’s committee is looking forward to a banner year with efforts underway to increase vendor spaces, special events and to include a dedication ceremony for the late founder – Ms. Sarah Ann Bowers.
