Strawberry Cake
1 box white cake mix
one (3 oz.) box strawberry Jello
4 eggs
2/3 cup oil
1 cup mashed strawberries
Mix all ingredients well together. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees in a greased 9 x 13 pan or a greased bundt pan.
Frost cake while still warm with the following mixture: 1/2 stick melted butter, 1/2 box powdered sugar, 1/4 cup mashed strawberries.

Strawberry Shortcake
2 pints strawberries, sliced
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/3 cups Bisquick baking mix
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup whipping cream
Sprinkle strawberries with 2/3 cup sugar; let stand 1 hour. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix baking mix, 3 tablespoons sugar, margarine and milk until soft dough forms. Drop dough into 6 mounds onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Beat whipping cream in chilled bow until stiff. Split shortcakes, fill and top with strawberries. Top with whipped cream. Makes 6 servings.
