Ricky Strong announced last week he would be a candidate for re-election for the Twin Lakes Telephone Cooperative Board of Directors for Area 1 (Jackson County.)

Strong lives in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, with his two younger children–Brock, a freshman at Jackson County High School, and Olivia, an 8th-grader at Jackson County Middle School. His oldest daughter, Atha Stinson, lives in Redwood City, California.

“In the past three years, there have been some positive changed for Twin Lakes,” Strong said. “Since being elected, I have tried to base each decision made for the benefit and success of Twin Lakes as a company, the Twin Lakes employees and all Twin Lakes members.

“It is an ongoing challenge to put and keep Twin Lakes on the forefront of today’s technology, but that challenge is being met each day by the employees of Twin Lakes with the support of the board of directors,” Strong said.

“It’s been an honor and privilege to serve as one of your board members and I humbly ask for your vote and support. It will be appreciated. Vote at your local office on Sept. 26, 2009 and at the Twin Lakes annual meeting on October 3.”
