Christmas parade declared a success
CELINA-The Clay County Christmas Parade was proclaimed a success by event organizers, with dozens of entries and hundreds of spectators lining the parade route down Lake Avenue.
The Clay County Rescue Squad and the City of Celina thanked everyone for supporting the annual event. Mayor Willie Kerr thanked everyone involved for their hard work and efforts to make the parade a success.
Kerr said everyone who participated was a winner and he thanked the Rescue Squad for their many hours of volunteer work organizing the event.

• Best mule and wagon: Anthony Smith,
• Best float and Mayor’s choice: Donaldson Pharmacy,
• Best ATV: Madeline West,
• Best truck: Celina Lumber Company,
• Best car: Fairest of the Fair, and
• Best horse: Adam Shautt.
