“Ain’t That Nice” antique store renovates downtown building
CELINA-The new antique store, Ain’t That Nice, located on the square in the building previously known as Sister Sister, was awarded the distinction of being a Clay County business that has transformed a previously “challenged appearance” building into an asset for the downtown area, the chamber of commerce announced last week.
The new owners, Jody and Tim Walters, over the course of several months have removed the worn metal awning, installed metal siding on the wall facing Dow Avenue and painted the front exterior wall. They also have renovated the interior yet maintaining the original antique environment.

“The makeover has made a positive difference on the square and now provides an inviting environment to attract customers,” said chamber of commerce director Ray Norris.
The award was presented by Andrea McLerran, chairman of the 2008-09 Adult Leadership team that has the downtown area around the square as a project to assist in renovation.
