CELINA – Memorial Services for Mary Katherine Burris 72, of Celina were held Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Upton Funeral Home with Bill Threet and Kenneth McClain officiating.

Mary Katherine Burris passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina. Mary Katherine Burris donated her body to Science at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Mary Katherine was born April 7, 1938 in Celina, Tennessee to the late Hershell and Beulah (Rich) McClain.

Her family includes daughter, Paula Crowder; brothers, R.T., Donald, and Kenneth McClain; sisters, Wilma Gilpatrick, Jean Rodgers, Faye Riley, Bonnie Boles and Sue Sherrell; grandchildren, B.J. Thompson Jr., Trae Crowder, Paige Crowder and Kenny Ray Huddleston; great grandchildren, Thomas James, Katelyn, Bradley and Marinda Thompson and great nephew, Buddy Sherrell the dog.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Marinda Huddleston and sister, Wanda Joyce McClain.
