Earl Radford Wilkerson

UNION HILL-Funeral Services for Mr. Earl Radford Wilkerson, 91 of Union Hill Community in Clay County, TN were held 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012 at Upton Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Carson officiating. Interment followed in the Wilkerson Family Cemetery in the Union Hill Community. Serving as pallbearers were David Wilkerson, Jason Browning, Todd Browning, Weston Browning, Austin Browning, Jared Browning and Elbert Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers Owen, Wyatt and Dillon Browning.

Mr. Earl Wilkerson, age 91, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Earl Wilkerson was born June 29, 1920 in the Union Hill Community of Clay County, TN to the late A.R. Gallous Wilkerson and Ada Ethel (Cherry) Wilkerson. Earl married Anna Jean Franklin on April 17, 1948.

Mr. Wilkerson was a farmer and an Army Veteran of WWII.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Exie Osgathorpe, Elba Hestand & Maryetta McCormick, brothers, Ermel Frank, Fosh & Bevely “Hoss” Wilkerson.  He is survived by his wife, Anna Jean Wilkerson, daughter, Donna Wilkerson both of the Union Hill Community & daughter, Kathleen (Jackie) Browning of Moss, son, David Earl (Linda) Wilkerson of Celina, grandchildren, Jason (Angie) Browning, Todd (Jessica) Browning, Kelli (Michael) Carr & Savannah Wilkerson, great-grandchildren, Jared, Ashlynn, Owen, Wyatt, Weston, Austin, Haley & Dillon Browning, Avah, Emmy & Will Carr & Jettie Mabry.
