CELINA-A back-to-school event organizers say is being held “to help relieve some of the financial burdens that come with getting your child ready for school” has been scheduled here at Celina K-8 School Saturday, July 28.
“We want to help you get your kids prepared for an outstanding year of learning and success,” officials said. “Parents or guardians of any Celina K-8 or Clay County High School student can come and select free clothing, shoes, or school supplies for each student in his/her family.”
The event is being held here in the school cafeteria from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the following will be available: shirts, bottoms (shorts/pants), coats/jackets, shoes, books, miscellaneous household items and appliances, and various school supplies.
All items will be free of charge, gently used, and non-returnable. Items will be available while they last on a first come-first serve basis. 
Donations in support of the give-away can be dropped off at the cafeteria anytime before July 27. For more information, call the school at 931-243-2391.
