Adams plays in TACA East-West All-Star game

Bulldog all-time-leading tackler sees all-star action at linebacker and on special teams
CLARKSVILLE-Clay County High School senior Reece Adams spent last week here at Austin Peay State University and played at Fortera Stadium in the 18th TACA Tennessee East-West All-Star Classic.
Adams’ squad, the East All-Stars, defeated the West 22-16 in the game to tie the all-time series at 9-9.
Adams starred at linebacker and running back for the Bulldogs during their second-straight Class A State Quarterfinal run this season.
He was rewarded for his play as Region 4-A Offensive MVP and with the invitation to play in the All-Star Classic—where he saw the field throughout the contest and recorded a tackle while playing at linebacker and on special teams.
Adams racked up 1,446 yards (20TDs) rushing and he also became the program’s all-time leading tackler this season with a career total of 322.
After setting the single-season tackle record (135) as a junior when he was named the Region 4-A Defensive MVP, Adams recorded 104 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss and two sacks, in his final campaign as a Bulldog.
