Annual puppet show scheduled for July 2
By JUDITH CUTRIGHT
The Science Guy, Mr. Bond, made an appearance during story hour on Thursday morning, June 25. With the help of volunteers from the audience, he performed and explained experiments dealing with air compressure, electricity, and body heat. After the show was over, all participants of the reading program were served muffins and icy pops before choosing a prize from the treasure chest.
The summer reading program will continue with the annual Upper Cumberland Regional Library (UCRL) puppet show held Thursday, July 2 at 9:30-10:30. The puppet show will offer youth a morning full of puppets, songs, books, snacks, prizes, and pure fun.
Story hour continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 until the end of summer reading party held July 30.
