LIVINGSTON-The third annual Upper Cumberland Reagan Day Dinner held at Livingston Academy here recently had a packed house of GOP faithful who heard an inspiring speech by talk show personality Carl Boyd, Jr. and a keynote from Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett who explained the detailed workings of his state office.
Tennessee GOP Chairman Chris Devaney was the master of ceremonies for the evening, a joint GOP event for Clay, Fentress, Jackson, Overton, and Pickett counties.
The evening ended with a live auction, which raised a substantial amount of money for the local GOP parties, conducted by Clay County GOP Chairman Dwayne Craighead.
