Blood drive set at Hermitage Springs
HERMITAGE SPRINGS-The American Red Cross welcomes a new blood drive location this month with the addition of Hermitage Springs School, program directors announced last week.
The schools’ location makes it convenient for volunteer donors in both Clay and Macon Counties to give blood, they said. The Red Cross also welcomes Gordie and Barbara Stein, who will serve as the new Clay County Blood Program Directors.
“Volunteering to be the Blood Drive Coordinators was an easy choice. There was a need for someone to do it. Donation is so important to saving lives and it could be someone in your family that needs the blood. Please join us,” said Barbara Stein.
You can help boost the winter blood supply by donating blood on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hermitage Springs School located at 17580 Clay County Highway in Red Boiling Springs.
