Brenda Spears, 48

CELINA-Funeral services for Brenda Spears, age 48 of Celina, were held October 30 in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Miller officiating. Interment in the Pruitt Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Pallbearers were Dewayne Spears, Lonnie Strode, Donnie Strode, Jackie Spears, William Spears and Jamie Key.

Brenda Spears passed away October 27, 2010 while in the company of family members at Cumberland River Hospital.

Brenda was born in Monroe County, Kentucky on April 30, 1962, the daughter of the late Elmer Ray and Ora Lee (Moss) Key. She had worked at Osh Kosh manufacturing in Celina and Supervisor over housekeeping at Holly Creek Boat Dock. She attended Pine Branch Church of Christ.

Brenda is also survived by husband Curtis Spears of Burkesville, KY; sons John (Christy) Spears and William Spears, both of Celina; special son Wayne Dulworth; daughter Carol Spears; sisters Mary Short of Celina, Margie Crawford of Hestand, KY, Barbara Likens of Moss and Tammy Jones of Celina; brothers Jerry Key of Celina, Charlie Key of Moss, David Key of Celina, Terry Key of Celina and Bobby Key of Celina; grandchildren Ryan Spears, Caleb Spears, Wyneshia Spears, Tiona Spears, Tyler Spears and Bryson Spears.

She was preceded in death by parents Elmer Ray and Lora Lee (Moss) Key; sister Linda Key; brothers Russell Key and Gary Jay Key; son Jason O’Neil Spears.
