Bulldog golf wraps up season in region

Keen, Dailey advance to 4-A Tournament two years in a row
COOKEVILLE-Clay County High School Golf finished their season in the Region 4-A Tournament last week, after both Aiden Keen and Brady Dailey advanced to the event for the second-straight season.
The duo made the TSSAA Class A Golf State Tournament last year, but came up shy of pulling off the feat again here at the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle Golf Club on Monday, September 29.
Keen shot a 77 at the same course in the District 7-A Tournament to finish as the third-highest medalist, while Dailey posted an 83 and teammate Matt Weir also played well with a 105.
In the region tournament, Keen maintained his pace with a 78, but it wasn’t enough to advance, as he came up four strokes short of qualifying. Dailey also shot a 92 in his region outing.
The team coached by Andrew Meadows was paced throughout the season by Keen and Dailey, as both players had multiple sub-40 scores in nine-hole regular-season matches.
