CELINA-Funeral Services for Mr. Carl Thomas “Doolie” Davis of Celina were held on Wednesday, April 06, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina. Burial followed in the Donaldson Cemetery with Bro. Ken Miller officiating.

Mr. Carl Thomas “Doolie” Davis, 54, passed away at the Cumberland River Hospital on April 04, 2011.

Mr. Davis was born on January 27, 1957 to Paul H. Davis and the late Opal (Thompson) Davis in Clay Co., TN.

He was a retired truck driver and farmer.

He is survived by daughters Crystal Gore and husband Jeremy of Lawrenceburg, TN; Carla Plumlee of Celina; father Paul H. Davis; sisters Mildred Sue Hampton, Dorothy Webb, Tina McLaughlin all of Celina; brother Lonnie Davis of Celina. Other survivors include grandchildren Payton Gore, Zachary Gore, Michael Plumlee, Jerrad Plumlee and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by mother Opal (Thompson) Davis and brother Dixie Davis.
