TOMPKINSVILLE, KY-Funeral services for Catherine Louise Napier, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Monroe County, KY were conducted Friday, June 17 at 1:00 P.M. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Dr. Tom Stokes officiated pallbearers were Robert Boyles, Irvin Abney, Gary Conkin, Chris Nead, Dennis Goetze and Frank Kidwell.

Catherine Louise Napier, age 87, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Sayre Christian Village Nursing Home in Lexington, KY.

She was born in Monroe Co., KY on May 4, 1924, to the late Harlie T. White Sr and Mae Crabtree White. She was a childcare provider, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tompkinsville where she taught Sunday School for many years.  She was united in marriage to Cass Napier who preceded her in death on September 17, 1984. She was an avid gofer and bridge player, she greatly enjoyed decorating and gardening.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Cass Thomas and Pat Napier of Nicholasville, one sister: Evadine Abney of Tompkinsville, one brother and sister-in-law: Harlie T., Jr. and Leoma White of Campbellsville, two grandchildren: Nachelle Nead and Kendall Goetze and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother: Kenneth White and two sisters: Frances Kidwell and Mary Nell Luginanni.
