GORDONSVILLE-Senior Trent Boles broke out of a four-game slump in a big way here last Saturday night as he put up 30 points and extended his Bulldog team’s season with a win over Gordonsville by a score of 63-38 in the opening round of the Region 4-A tournament.

Boles, who is expected to produce big numbers, hadn’t hit the 30-point mark since scoring 35 at Clarkrange well over two weeks ago.

“Trent played like he is supposed to play every night,” coach Rob Edwards said.  “He took over the game like he should when it counted.”
