GAINESBORO-The Clay County High volleyball team finished third in the Jackson County Invitational tournament here recently, winning three matches and losing in the semifinals to the hosts. 

The Lady Dawgs beat White County and Monterey 2-0, and topped Gordonsville two games to one. They fell to Jackson County in the semifinals.

CCHS has two more home matches scheduled. They will host Monterey and Upperman on Thursday, October 1, and Clarkrange on Tuesday, October 6 for Senior Night.
