Chamber receives grant to promote tourism through photography
CELINA-The Clay County Chamber of Commerce received a grant to enlist the services of professional photographers and videographers on contract with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development.
An advance team has been working with locals to determine the best locations for pictures and videos to be made that will best tell the story of the area.
Marci Claude, Public Relations Director of the Designsensory Agency, and Amy Hubbard, Producer/Director of the PopFizz Production Company joined chamber directory Doug Young and project leader and Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery manager Thomas Reeves to begin the effort.
Professional photos and videos taken by Claude and Hubbard will be used in promotional material geared towards enhancing tourism in the area.
The actual photography and videography work is expected to begin this month.
