Event sponsorship commitment, vendor registration deadlines set

CELINA-If the encore is anything like the first one, the 2nd Annual Chocolate Gravy Festival set for late March here in downtown Celina will not disappoint, and organizers are looking forward to welcoming the masses again.

“We’re so excited for the 2nd Annual Chocolate Gravy Festival happening on Saturday, March 28, 2026!” they said on the Celina Downtown Events Facebook page.  “Come be part of this fun, hometown festival that celebrates music, community, and of course—chocolate gravy!”

Vendor registration is now open and can be completed online, plus preorders for this year’s commemorative mugs are also available and organizers are inviting sponsors to help them make the 2026 even better.

“Thanks to the incredible support of our community and sponsors, last year’s festival was a tremendous success,” they said.  “The event welcomed over 5,000 attendees to downtown Celina and generated more than $1,000,000 in total spending across Clay County, providing a significant boost to local businesses, restaurants, and lodging.

“We would love to have you as a sponsor for this year’s festival,” a post promoting sponsorship said.  “Sponsorship offers a unique opportunity to showcase your business to thousands of visitors while directly supporting an event that celebrates our local culture and drives economic growth in our community.”

The sponsorship commitment deadline is set for January 28 and the vendor registration deadline is February 1.

Besides chocolate gravy taste testing and contest, the festival will also include a chocolate pie baking contest, biscuit baking contest, chocolate gravy eating contest, live music, vendors, and more.
