CHRC offering $25K scholarship at CCHS
CELINA-Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center (CHRC) has announced they are offering a four-year $25,000 scholarship to a Clay County High School senior pursuing a healthcare-related degree.
“We are very excited to offer this substantial scholarship to a student in our community,” CHRC administrator Rebecca Tandy said. “The scholarship will pay $3,125 per semester to the university of the awarded recipient.
“The student will have to maintain a certain grade point average (GPA) and submit copies of their transcripts every semester to continue receiving the money towards their college institution, (and) payments will only be made to the college, never the student.”
Applicants must be graduating from Clay County High School and have at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA, and they are encouraged to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.fafsa.gov.
If awarded the scholarship, the applicant is not required to attend a Tennessee college or university.
Applicants must submit their applications, along with all required supplemental materials, to Tandy by March 28. Late and/or incomplete application packets will not be considered.
