Dawgs win at Sunbright

SUNBRIGHT-Putting the post-game debacle with Red Boiling Springs from the night before behind them, the Bulldogs traveled here and took down Sunbright by a score of 50-38 last Saturday night.

Corey Hamilton again shined as he and Trent Boles both had 12 points in the victory.

Clay County jumped out to a seven-point lead at the end of the first and a low-scoring second quarter by both teams took them into the locker room at the break with the score 20-14 in the favor of the Bulldogs.

The Dawgs then picked up the pace to start the third and took a 12-point margin into the final period.

There they virtually broke even with Sunbright and finished off the win by an even dozen points.
