The Clay County Youth League Senior Bulldogs will be playing in Saturday’s Tri-County Youth League Championship game in Hartsville after downing Cannon County 12-7 in their semifinal matchup last weekend.  The Dawgs (5-2) celebrated their big win in the pouring rain after holding on to victory in the defensive struggle played in a monsoon.  They are set to face unbeaten Gordonsville at 4 p.m. at Trousdale County High School’s field on “The Creekbank,” with a conference title on the line.

The team includes  Isaiah White (#1), Julien Villa (#2), Warner Melton (#5), Brady Dailey (#7), Jimmy Villa (#8), Reece Adams (#9), Aiden Keen (#12), Nolan Adams (#20), Hunter Collins (#23), Cole Eads (#24), Kale Trobaugh (#26), Jacob Copeland (#42), Brayden Baskerville (#44), Casen Smotherman (#50), Waylon Hayes (#52), Kayson Monroy-Hildogo (#55), Matthew Poindexter (#65), Cole Ledbetter (#66), Rolan Holaway (#71), and Issac Wheeler (#72).  They are coached by Matt Adams, Mike Adams, Homer Dailey, Chatt Holaway, and Jeff Eads.
