Clay County Youth League championship bound
The Clay County Youth League Senior Bulldogs will be playing in Saturday’s Tri-County Youth League Championship game in Hartsville after downing Cannon County 12-7 in their semifinal matchup last weekend. The Dawgs (5-2) celebrated their big win in the pouring rain after holding on to victory in the defensive struggle played in a monsoon. They are set to face unbeaten Gordonsville at 4 p.m. at Trousdale County High School’s field on “The Creekbank,” with a conference title on the line.
