Clay Farm Bureau is region’s agency of year

Local agency wins award named after former Clay resident Ray Gannon
CELINA-Clay County Farm Bureau has been recognized as one of the best insurance agencies in the area, local agency manager Daniel Burton recently announced.
The local agency here has been named the Ray Gannon Agency of the Year for Region 3, and Burton explained the award carried deeper significance because it’s namesake lived in Clay County for many years.
“We are honored and truly grateful to share that the Clay County Farm Bureau was recognized as Region 3 – Ray Gannon Agency of the Year,” Burton said. “Mr. Gannon represents what Farm Bureau stands for—integrity, service, leadership, and a genuine commitment to people.
“To receive an award that bears his name is incredibly humbling.”
This recognition was presented by Tennessee Farm Bureau Regional Manager Joseph Amonett, and Burton said he and his staff were thankful for Amonett’s leadership, encouragement, and support.
Burton described the achievement as “truly a team effort,” and he said it would not have happened without the dedication and hard work of Melissa Brannon and Ashley Hancock.
“We are blessed to work alongside people who care about doing things the right way,” he said. “There have been many highlights with Farm Bureau, but this one may be at the very top.
“The Bible reminds us: ‘Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might.’ (Ecc. 9:10). We know we are not perfect, but our goal is simple—to show up, to care, and to provide the best service possible every single day.
“Thank you to Clay County Membership for your trust and support! If you’re looking for an insurance office that values people, relationships, and giving its best, we would be honored to serve you.”
