Collins’ service at health department is recognized

CELINA-Carol Sue Collins, Clay County Health Department Office Supervisor here, was recently awarded the Excellence in Promotion Award for the Upper Cumberland Region.
Upper Cumberland Regional Health Director Debbie Johnson and local health department director Andy Langford were on hand for the presentation of the award.
“She has been a faithful health department employee for 36 years and goes out of her way to assist the patients ensuring they receive the services needed,” officials said. “Mrs. Collins has always been a big advocate of the health department and is always willing to provide information about our services.
“She is the epitome of a public health employee who follows our mission statement to protect, promote and improve the health and prosperity of people in Tennessee.”
