Cumberland River Hospital has new leader
“CRH’s former CAO Patricia Strong has decided to accept another position with Cookeville Regional Medical Group, where she will be involved with physician practice management,” the release explained, which opened the door for Marinich.
“Patricia has been with CRH for more than 23 years, and for the past three years, she has successfully served as CAO,” CRMC Chief Operating Officer Scott Williams said. “We appreciate her leadership at CRH and are glad that she is staying within our Cookeville Regional family.
“I look forward to working with Patsy as she takes on more responsibility as CAO. She has the experience necessary to take Patricia’s place, and I have no doubt that she will be as strong a leader as Patricia.”
Since 2007, Marinich has served as CNO at CRH, where she has managed all aspects of nursing services and maintaining clinical and patient care standards.
In her new role, she will continue to serve in that role, as well as serve as the CAO to oversee all hospital operations.
A registered nurse, Marinich has spent 23 years at CRH. She moved to Celina in 1995 and began work at CRH as a unit secretary.
She then began her journey to become a licensed practical nurse through the Tennessee Technology Center in Livingston, and later, a registered nurse. She received her associate’s degree in nursing science from the University of the State of New York in Albany, New York.
Over the years, Marinich has worked not only at CRH, but also at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, OH, and Livingston Regional Hospital. She has held several key leadership positions over her career including RN supervisor and assistant director of nursing at CRH and ICU charge nurse at Livingston Regional.
“I have been afforded the opportunities to advance at each facility in areas of nursing and management, and I have learned a great deal,” Marinich said. “I appreciate the vote of confidence as I step into this new role and look forward to continuing to work with the dedicated staff associated with CRH and CRMC.”
