CELINA- Funeral Services for Daisy Ruth King, 84 of Celina were held Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Celina Church of Christ with Bill Threet officiating. Burial was in Fitzgerald Cemetery.

Ruth King passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

Daisy Ruth King was born September 16, 1926 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Joseph Manley and Daisy Snow (Turner) Vanatta.

Ruth was a homemaker and a member of The Celina Church of Christ.

Her family includes son, Joseph W. King & wife, Kay of Celina; daughters, Sandra Eads & husband, Kerry of Celina & Donna Snow Burnette & husband, Gerald of Celina; 13 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great-Grandchildren.

In addition to his parents she was preceded in death by husband, Clyde Milton King; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Serving as pallbearers were Ryan Lacy, Caleb Burnette, Brett White, Colby Hix, Michael Eads and Mark King.
