LIVINGSTON-The top-seeded Clay County High School boys basketball team learned who their opponent would be here Saturday night in their opening round of the District 7-A tournament after Clarkrange handily defeated Monterey by a score of 57-37 in the event’s play-in game last night.

The Dawgs swept the Buffaloes in regular season play, but they will be forced to top the team a third time here this weekend in order to stay on track to claim the conference championship.

With a win, CCHS would play the winner of the second semi-final game between Jackson County and Pickett County next Tuesday night in the championship round.
