EARLY PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Celina, Tennessee is considering rehabilitating portions of the Celina Water Distribution System as a Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Project. Portions of the project area are in the 100-year floodplain. In order to address the water loss problem being experienced with the water system, it is necessary to carry out parts of this project in the floodplain. The city is interested in discussing alternatives to this project and securing public perceptions of possible adverse impacts that could result from the project and possible minimization measures. The Clay County Highway Department will be accepting sealed bids until 3:00 p.m. on January 22, 2011. At that time, bids will be opened for one (1) new 2011 pickup truck two (2) new 2011 dump trucks. The Clay County Highway Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids. For further specifications please call Ernest Garrison, Clay County Highway Superintendent at 931-243-2611.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is accepting sealed bids for a new heating & cooling system for the Clay County Sheriff’s Office building. Specifications: One- 2 1/2 ton rated heat pump, 13 seer 10kw suitable for 1,200 sq.ft. All interested in submitting bids are welcome to, encouraged to inspect the facility prior to submitting bids. Sealed bids must be submitted no later than 12 noon on December 27, 2010 to the Sheriff’s Office. Bids shall be opened at the Clay County Planning Meeting 12/27/10.
