Donaldson running for alderman
CELINA-Local pharmacist Bill Donaldson announced last week he would be a candidate for alderman in the city election here in June.
Donaldson, who has also served the 3rd District as a school board member for the past three years, is the son of the late Corky and Cleo Donaldson of Celina. He is a 1978 graduate of Celina High School. He attended Tennessee Tech after that, studying pre-pharmacy.
He graduated from the Mercer University School of Pharmacy in Atlanta in 1983, working for larger chain drug stores in Atlanta and this area for several years before starting Donaldson Pharmacy with his sister seven years ago.
“My goal is to save money for each Celina taxpayer in our city budget whenever possible,” Donaldson said. “I would appreciate your vote and influence in helping make that possible.
“I’ll work hard to represent the people, property owners and businesses of the city of Celina,” Donaldson said.
