Oatmeal Cookies
1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) margarine, softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3 cups oats, uncooked
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt and spices, mix well. Stir in oats. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes for a chewy cookie, 10 to 11 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove and enjoy.

Banana Pound Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/4 cup oil
3/4 cup water
1 cup mashed bananas
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine cake mix, pudding, 4 eggs, oil, water, and bananas; mix well and pour into greased and lightly floured bundt pan. Bake for one hour. Let cool in pan before removing.
