Sour Cream Pound Cake

one box Butter Recipe Golden Cake (Duncan Hines)

one (8 oz) carton sour cream

2/3 cup vegetable oil

1/3 cup sugar

4 eggs

Combine ingredients and beat with mixer until smooth. Pour into a greased bundt pan.

Bake to 325 degrees for 45 minutes.

Old Fashioned Sweet Coleslaw

5 cups finely chopped cabbage (about one small head)

2 carrots, scraped and shredded

1 to 2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

Combine cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper, toss gently. Stir in mayonnaise. Cover and chill thoroughly. (Makes 6 to 8 servings)
