Free flu shots still available
CELINA-Area residents may receive free flu vaccinations at the county health department here. Vaccine is offered without an appointment, while supplies last, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m at the department’s clinic at 115 Guffey Street.
Flu shots will be provided at no charge to patients. Both adults and children may receive flu vaccine at the clinic.
“It takes about two weeks to be protected after you get the flu vaccine, so we want everyone who hasn’t had their flu shot to get one right away,” stated Andy Langford, Clay County Health Department county director.
