CELINA-Funeral Services for Mr. Garland Mann Holt, Jr., better known as Sonny, of Celina were held on Saturday, April 09, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina. Burial followed in the McDonald Cemetery. Bro. Edward Todd and Joy Langford officiated the service.

Mr. Garland Mann Holt, Jr., 76, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 06, 2011.

Mr. Holt was born on July 30, 1934 to the late Garland Mann Holt Sr., and Maggie (Rich) Holt in Hilham, TN.

He was a Fork Truck operator with GM Motors for 30 plus years.  He was also affiliated with the Hilham Church of God. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by daughters Tamie Greenwood & Tonya Scott both of Celina; son Garland Holt, III and his wife Michelle of Martinsville, IN; help mate and mother of his children: Syliva Holt; sisters Glena Holkem of Rickman, Wynell Taylor of Indiana, Kay Day of Hilham, and Ruth Fannin of Indiana; brother Carson Holt of Indiana.

Other survivors include grandchildren Chance Goad, Trinity Weddle, Nicole Ledbetter, and Chase Scott of Celina, Jared Holt and Braylynn Holt of Indiana; great grandchildren Austin Goad, Brooke Goad, Dalton Goad, Hunter Ledbetter, Mia Ledbetter, Emma Goad, Macy Weddle, and Cole Ledbetter all of Celina.
