Bonnie Craighead (Soph.) shows her winning bridge of popsicle sticks constructed as an entry into Mrs. Teia Arms annual geometry class bridge building competition. The bridge is made from 286 popsicle sticks and held up unbroken under a load of 1110+ pounds which calculates to just over 3.8 lbs. per stick.
