CELINA – Funeral services for Georgia Mae Adams 79, of Celina were held Friday, August 27, 2010 at Upton Funeral Home with Willie Kerr officiating. Interment was in Watson Cemetery.  

Georgia Adams passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

Georgia Mae Adams was born March 2, 1931 in Celina, Tennessee to the late Millard Cordell   and Delia Ann (Daniels) Watson.

Georgia Adams was affiliated with the Church of Christ. She was the retired from Richardson Rubber Company.      

Her family includes son, Timothy Paul Adams of Celina; daughters & sons-in-law, Sandra and Joe English, Glenda & Walter Raines and Romona & Jeff Worrix all of Celina; brothers, Jack Watson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Remus Watson of Celina; sisters, Ina Cunningham of Indianapolis, Indiana, Ola M. Watson of Celina and Jolly Anderson of Camby, Indiana; 15 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoover Paul Adams; brothers, Demus, R.T., Arkley D.,  and James Watson and sister, Iva P. Kuhn.

Serving as pallbearers were Rodney Raines, Donnie Raines, Greg Raines, Chris Blyth, Jordon Moore and Steven Groce.
