Halloween fun coming to town

Trick-or-Treat Celina and Boo At The Park set this week
CELINA-A pair of annual traditions will take place this week here in town, as Trick-or-Treat Celina will be held downtown Friday and Boo At The Park will take over Donaldson Park Saturday.
Businesses, organizations, and others will be set up all along East Lake Avenue down to the historic courthouse square for trick-or-treaters to visit Friday night from 6-8 p.m.
The 2nd Annual Boo at the Park will then kick off Saturday at 4 p.m. with fun for the whole family.
The event will feature food, face painting, paint a’ pumpkin with 300 available, a spooky scavenger hunt, and more.
There will also be a consume contest for all ages from 6-7 p.m. with a $50 prize being awarded to the winner in 0-3 years, 4-7 years, 8-12 years, 13-17 years, and adult categories.
A non-haunted hay ride will be held from 4-6 p.m. and a haunted trail will also be available beginning at 7 p.m.
The event is being sponsored by the Clay County Anti-Drug Coalition, the City of Celina, Bank of Celina, Macon Bank & Trust, and other community partners and volunteers.
All proceeds will be donated to the Celina and Pea Ridge Volunteer Fire Departments.
