Health and Safety Day is set this Saturday at fairgrounds

Annual event offers family fun, health resources, safety education, and more
CELINA-The annual Clay County Health and Safety Day will be held here this weekend at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
The event is set for Saturday from 9-11 a.m. and it is hosted by The Clay County Anti-Drug Coalition and the Clay County Health Department in partnership with multiple community partners.
“Join us for a morning of family fun, health resources, and safety education,” organizers said. “Meet local first responders, explore emergency vehicles, and learn tips for staying safe and healthy in our community.”
Overdose prevention training will also be offered and other safety simulators and resources will be available, along with free food and school supplies.
A disposal bin for unused and unwanted medication will also be available and a clothing consignment sale will be onsite offering school clothes at a discount.
Plus, multiple booths offering information and resources will be set up for attendees to enjoy.
