CELINA-Funeral services for Mr. Herman Coy Collins, 79, of Moss were held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina. Burial followed in the Kendall Cemetery with Bro. Dale Strong officiating. Pallbearers were Matt Wood, Mike Schubert, Paul Weikel, Bryan Weikel, Jason Anderson, Greg Collins, Ray Likens, Alan Likens.

Mr. Collins passed away at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN on Saturday, September 25, 2010.

He was born on August 16, 1931 to the late Amos “Cooley” and Novella (Green) Collins in Moss, TN.

Mr. Collins worked for General Electric, served in the U.S. Army, and was a member in the Pine Hill Church of Christ.

He is survived by daughters Cindy (Darrell) Atwood of Moss, Terry Weikel of Louisville, KY; grandchildren Patricia (Matt) Wood, Michael Schubert, Tracy Weikel, Kelly Weikel, Paul Weikel, Brittany Weikel, Bryan Weikel; great grandchildren Nicholas Wood, Nathan Wood; brothers Glyn (Jackie) Collins, Neal (Shirley) Collins, Russell Collins; sister Barbara Likens.

Mr. Collins was preceded in death by parents Amos “Cooley” and Novella (Green) Collins; wife Patsy Moore Collins; and an infant brother.
