CELINA-The 1st Annual Moonshine Daze Hillbilly Purdy Contest will be held here Thursday, May 3 at  6 p.m. at the Recreation Complex in the new addition of the Women’s Building.

Categories will include:

• Baby Dew (0-11 mos),

• Early Dew (12-23 mos),

• Tiny  Dew (2 -3 years),

• Mini Dew Drop (4 -5 years),

• Li’L Dew Drop (6 -8 years),

• Mountain Dew (9-11 years),

• Li’l  Shine (12-14 years),

• Miss Shine and Buck, Jr. (15-17 years), and

• Miss Moonshine Daze and Big Bucky (if the guys are willin’) (18-24 years).

The Winners will reign all year as kings and queens and be able to represent the festival in promotional events. All Winners are requested to ride in the Moonshine Daze Parade on Saturday, May 5.
