Homecoming Days community festival starts August 2
CELINA, TN-Homecoming Days 2018, the annual event sponsored by the Clay County Museum is set to liven up the town square here beginning Thursday, August 2 and continue through that weekend.
The fun officially begins at the museum Thursday with the ringing of the bells by this year’s bell-ringer Phillip Strong at 2 p.m., followed by a cake/merchandise walk at 6 p.m. on the square, and music that evening.
Friday will feature a quilt and photography show, cow patty contest, marble tournament, and more live music, while Saturday will showcase a car show, antique tractor show, mighty duck race, music, and much more.
The Cattlemen’s Association will also have their annual ribeye cookout on both Thursday and Friday.
