Homecoming Parade route the same as last year
CELINA-Friday’s homecoming celebration parade will embark here at 1:30 p.m. from the back parking lot at Clay County High School (CCHS) and follow the same path as last year.
The event will take a circuitous route around town providing plenty of opportunity for all to enjoy.
Leaving CCHS, the parade will travel east on Highway 52 across the Cumberland River Bridge, through both four-way stops, and to the four-way stop at the intersection of Highway 53.
From there, the parade will turn right onto Highway 53 and proceed to Pitcock Lane, where it will take a right and travel past Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center and Happy Sak Market.
At the end Pitcock Lane, the route turns left onto Mitchell Street and travels past Celina K-8 and Celina Lumber Company, before turning right onto Williamson Street and continuing past Head Start to the intersection of West Lake Avenue at Upton-Hay Funeral Home.
There the parade will take a right and continue through the courthouse square, four-way stop, and travel the length of town down East Lake Avenue, before ending at Exit Reality.
Game-night festivities will begin at 6:30, with kickoff to follow at 7 p.m.
